CAN Board of Directors
The CAN Board of Directors is responsible for guiding the development, management, and growth of CAN. It is made up of faculty, staff, and system office representatives from the University of California, California State University, the California Community Colleges, the Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU) and the California Postsecondary Education Commission (CPEC). The CAN System Office is also represented on the Board as ex-officio members.
In addition, the Board of Directors oversees four workgroups: the CAN Model Articulation Workgroup, the CAN Visibility Workgroup, the CAN Policy Workgroup and the CAN Budget and Legislative Workgroup. These workgroups provide the Board with direction and advice on technical issues and user needs and concerns.
