An implementation committee will convene to develop a step by step process of how to implement this plan. The committee will focus on a number of issues regarding the New CAN Model such as the CAN descriptor process, the course qualification process, timeline for implementation, the cost of implementation, alternative options for implementation if needed and technology issues. Detailed technology issues will be addressed by technology advisory group to the implementation committee. The technology group will make recommendations to the implementation committee and the implementation committee will present the findings/recommendations to the CAN board in November.
